I thought we played well although it almost always seems to go through ASM.

Joelinton played well, and tbh I thought Shelvey moved the ball a bit quicker.

Almiron does what he always does - work hard but lack a killer output.

We were exciting to watch with Joelinton, ASM and Willock making runs.

We are limited without Wilson, ASM and to a lesser extent Joelinton.

Solid at the back. Murphy a tough one - gets forward well, and defends solidly enough but can lose it quite easy in difficult spots.

    Bruce out by the way....

Wasn't his worst but we'll never improve until he's ousted... His hiding in front of the back has gone on far too long..

1 goal and 3 assists for the amount of mins and games he's had is atrocious... He's taken hundreds of corners and fee kicks

Joelinton wasn’t playing well. He was anonymous and then missed an absolute sitter.

Then you have willock. Who is a breathe of fresh air.

I think Shelvey in the 90’s would be world class but the game has moved on so much.

You have to literally be able to read the game, pass and move and be mobile.

Mason Mount is a perfect example of a modern day PL CM.

The days of a deep lying creative CM are long gone and that’s what Shelvey is.

The Joelinton bashing is just daft now.. There were far worse performances tonight and he's got 3 goals in his last 6 games.

His overall play with 1st half wasn't bad a all and he got in the right place for a header he tried to get too much on... It wasn't an easy header actually.

    Shelveys was easier

You could see the difference when he was gone

No it isn’t, he was crap. Because others were worse doesn’t mean he was any good.

Dummett was very limited. Ritchie ran around but didn’t do anything constructive. Murphy was anonymous and lost the ball to easily at times. Gayle was Gayle.

Max was top notch. Shelvey was decent without doing anything outstanding. Willock was good and easy on the ball.

I’m not bashing him for the sake of it mate. I appreciate he is trying but FFS he is a 40m player and he’s not showing that.

It’s absolutely fundamentally simple with him. He isn’t a striker. He’s a RW at best.

Bruce plays him in a position which he isn’t good at.

So which is it mate. Joe’s ****. Or Bruce is **** re putting him in the wrong position.

One has to give. And at the PL level you can’t have ****ing passengers!

Nah he wasn't mate he was being fouled alot and winning free kicks and he was keeping the ball.

Ok he gave it away once a bd missed a header that he did well to get on the end of but the side was unquestionably playing better until he went off

He's got 3 in his last 6 premier league games and was doing ok 1st half... He was put there injured when he missed that header too btw which wasn't a great header I admit.

I just get bored of people sinking their teeth in to players.. He's doing ok atm... There's some that were giving the ball away over and over again 1st half

But he’s not doing okay. He has improved but when the baseline was that low that’s not really saying a lot. And just because we were worse after he went off doesn’t mean that he was good.

That we have years more of Ritchie and Gayle is frightening. Willock will go somewhere ambitious and we’ll be drafting Fraser back into the side.

Yeah no takeover and no willock.

The likes of villa, Everton and pretty much every side will be keen.

Ritchie and Murphy were atrocious today and was kraft even playing.... Shelvey was **** too as usual just hid on front of the back 4 again.. He did try but so what he's still ultimately useless

“ As I’ve said from day one, I won’t be everyone's cup of tea, unfortunately, but that’s the way it is. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is the way it is unfortunately.”

Impressive double-unfortunately from Bruce reacting to the boos.
