Well I’ve only seen the first half so far and I thought it was a competent, professional performance. They only had one shot on target and that was easy for Burge.
Going forward was poor. Jones should be sent back where he came from. He’s just not very good. I would like to have seen Maguire on second half.
McGeady came more into it as the game went on and he and Gooch had the best two chances.
Disappointed at the end of the day. But it ain’t over yet.

He has just done the blanket blame game again, I don’t like that, we know we have injuries but you have to find the round pegs for round holes, I’ll be in the pub on Saturday but I have little hope to be honest, I saw the way Lincoln contained and should have beaten us at the sol

It seems that the players are not buying into what he wants them to play. Jones and Power were God awful. I though that Flannagan had a decent first half. I know they won 2-0 but the game didn't reflect that and they weren't much better. Problem with us is that we have no pacy forward that runs at defenders. Still think that this is not over. A few of those kids at the SoL on Saturday with 10,000 roaring could crap themselves. Anyway fingers crossed.....

Sigh, the reality is that the majority of our players on display are just nothing more than mid table league 1 players.

We have average division 1 players. Par for the course. We shall see what the new owners have in store for us for next season. If we fail over the next 2 seasons, only then would I chuck my toys out the pram.

This is so true yet folk are wanting to sack the manager like that's worked in the past. We got to show a little more faith in what the new owner is trying to do. Hopefully we'll see major changes player wise this summer.

it’s this that stops me from wanting the manager gone. I blame the players fully. They had it in their hands. They threw it away. Today we could easily have won that and no one could’ve argued. 3 chances for McGeady and one for Jones. Any other day McGeady scores those.

Also, due to this, surely we have massively over achieved this season? Average league 1 players would get you mid table. We were the 4th best team with average players. Imagine how we’d do with some above average ones

Sorry mate have to disagree. Passenger most of the time and looks like he hates being here. The mistake is having him on the bench. Once in a blue moon does something great - nowhere near what we need on the pitch in my opinion.

Fair enough, I just think he would have offered something tonight as what we had on the pitch was pretty **** all game.

Its ridiculous blaming the manager imo. The changes he made in the second half demonstrate he can see what's going on and that he knows how to change the game. There's only so much a manager can do but no matter what he does, those who are put off by what they see as unnecessary use of 'jargon' will look to find fault with him.

Can’t disagree with anything other than the first half. Thought we were second best for the entire first half. Otherwise he’s said exactly what I thought
