The stadium cost £37 million, Snidey ... only the last payment of £5.5 million was missed ... the stadium's ownership reverted to a US Pension fund when we went into receivership ... and pretty sure the constructers would have been insured ... King Power subsequently paid market value to buy the stadium from the Pension fund and transfer it as a gift into club ownership. So yes we are currently residing in and benefiting from a stadium that is fully paid for and mortgage free. Case ...and I'll informed idiot, closed
