Heard that name mentioned a fair bit...might need to do my own extensive research on him. I’m still traumatised by Soldado and Vincent Jansen and Andy Booth. I don’t trust us to make the right choice...we only got Kane because he came through the ranks or we would be playing with Benteke upfront for the last 6 years mixing it with Arsenal in mid table.
Your last striker from Germany didn't do too bad - Berba. Weghorst aint as silky smooth, far more the strong, physical type but runs at defences and can hold the ball. Very versatile player. Funny that Haaland went for £19m to Dortmund just 18 months ago and now ppl talking £100m+. There's a market out there for top forwards who can move to the next level, and tbf to Spurs they have spotted plenty and signed them up.
Only problem is if this season is a one off. Some players have thrived without the pressure of crowds just like some teams have. So it’s a possibility but there’s much to consider

He's 29 going on 30 and we aren't in over 1 billion in debt... In fact not really any debt at all and that's the thing Ashley has to be given credit for. I mean him you could have him, but we'd ask for a good chunk.. Ie more than he's worth. Not sure if he might have a release clause but I read he doesn't. I did find it interesting he's apparently Injured again. I doubt anyone will be sold of any worth until Ashley's Court case is decided though.
