The word is Halitosis and what you don't seem to realise is that when they talk about Newcastle, they're talking about the whole of the North East, because some of them regard Sunderland as being part of Newcastle.
It doesn't apply to me as I'm completely weird about having clean hands, so wash mine atleast 15-20 times a day. Can't stand people who don't wash their hands after using the toilet and often use my elbows or feet to open public toilet doors if I can, and cover my hand if the door requires pulling. I also have a touch screen phone and it gets cleaned almost daily. The keyboards at work are ****ing disgusting though, they've got about 10 years worth of grime on them.
Well it's a good job I intervened because we were only a few comments away from the old 'BBC Newcastle' and 'more Metro stations in Newcastle' argument!
No mate, this thread is all about Newcastle being an oasis of ****e stuck in the middle of a desert of cleanliness...
Blyth is one of your favourite places? That'll be the first time I've ever heard someone say that! And yeah, I went to Uni down in 'Boro for a while but stayed even after I dropped out. I worked in betting shops so I've seen the place in its true glory.
