Well , I’m having these lunchtime kickoffs. Sets up the weekend perfectly. Shame that the season is nearly over.

 

Sean Dyche says a report will go in to the FA after one of his Burnley players reported an incident during the game against Leeds United

 

Looking like my 32 points for survival and safety isnt far off then. Fulham need a win and a draw to get there still.

 

Never a dull moment with Sean and his kickers is there.

 

His first touch was a backheel that sent us on a counter attack. It broke us through the Burnley press which we had struggled to do at times. I gave him some credit for that.

Then his run and shot at the heart of Burnleys defence near the end was decent. Yes he could have slipped Rodrigo in early but Rodrigo was wide and it would have been on his weaker foot so would have probably had to cut back inside in to traffic. As it was the Burnley defenders actually positioned themselves quite well and it opened up for Roberts centrally. It was on his wrong foot but he still managed to get decent power and get it on target. Something that we all have called for at times when we balloon it over the bar. It was close but I think he did the right thing there. Good defending really.

Other than that he was poor again which brings him back to an even 6.

I always try and give the player in the 'Hernandez role' a bit of leeway as it is his job to take risky moves to create a bit of magic. Roberts can do it once in a blue moon. He is no Hernandez that's for sure but let's not forget that Hernandez had some shockers along the way but without him taking risks we wouldn't be even in this division. Its the same reason I have given Rodrigo a bit of a free ride this season. It's a hard position to play and thrive in.

 

Anything to deflect from the real headline that his side got spanked 4 nil.

 

It looked like McNeil spat at Alioski whilst he was on the floor. That's what I thought got reported.

Has McNeil really reported Alioski for pulling faces? What has the game come to?

If the race card has been thrown then expect an 8 game ban for Alioski. You don't need proof with the FA.

 

Alioski will get done for unsportsmanlike conduct, banned for 8 games and Leeds docked 25 points
