Just sick of him, **** poor and offers nothing to the team. Wouldn't be sad if he never played for us again. He sucks so much.

and Birmingham nicked it against Stoke, FFS! Such a good chance to climb and pull away considering the other results!

Lovenkrands is rubbish! Saw him having a barney with Enrique and I was hoping he would clear off.

I dunno what Lover's argument was, it's simple, make a run u t*at don't just stand there! He has poor movement, positioning, can't do anything with the ball... Just offers absolutely nothing, I know Ranger is better as an impact sub but I'm hoping Ireland is fit soon to play behind Best cuz i can't handle much more Lovenkrands.

He was decent in the first half, his pace and movement caused Blackburn's defense problems and was unlucky not to get a goal for his efforts but in the second half he was very disappointing, didn't look up to it and just let the game fly by him, especially shown by his little argument with Enrique before getting subbed and rightly so, he blows hot and cold and just doesn't look like the striker he used to be.. just not good enough anymore at this level, but it's all we have.. Ranger is very inexperienced although looks decent enough already, Best is probably our best striker and Kuqi will not be setting the world alight with his style of play. I simply cannot wait any longer for Ben Arfa, Ireland and Ameobi to return!

I THOUGHT LOVENKRANDS WAS GREAT YOU LITTLE PISS ANTS.

He actually held the ball up and distributed well. He's not the best running at defenders, but he makes clever runs, has good movement, and can usually deliver a precise pass/cross.

His give and go with enrique early on was class.

I'm not a fan of Pete but I thought he had a cracking game first half, second half he decided to go to sleep though unfortunately, we really need striker investment in the summer like, we look very, very strong everywhere else at the moment.

Loverman needs to up his game. Ranger needs to start against Brum even if he is an "impact player." We do not have the luxury to mess about up front. Ironically, defensively we look very very strong and weak offensively (Arsenal match aside) and we lack a cutting edge!

This is Lovenkrands' time to shine and I think he has the ability to do that. I have a lot of respect for him as a player and am longing for him to prove to others that he can still perform at this level.

Believe me, he's not a fan of Pete's. I am however. It's not like we can be picky at the minute, all of our players aren't world class players... I would rather start Lovenkrands than Ranger cause of his experience, he is a good player once other team mates involve him in the game like Enrique yesterday. I much prefer Ranger on the bench but to come on as an impact sub cause from what I've seen he isnt a team player, he needs to grow up and he scares defences ragged when tired when brought on after 60-70 minutes.

Once Lovenkrands gets another goal after a string of good matches, he comes good. He's a hell of a finisher... that's for those who didnt follow his exploits last season, 15 goals was it? You may say he's playing at championship level but so was Carroll and he got his game up here and look at him now £35m+ at Liverpool, time Lovenkrands time and I believe he will deliver. His shot yesterday was desparately unlucky.

Haha, I'm not saying we will either. I'm saying that cause Carroll used the championship to step up, he performed well in the premier league. Same could have happened with Lovenkrands, if we played him too... we know he can do it, now he's getting his chance to do it.

Did anyone else notice how well he played the Center forward role?

He did everything perfectly EXCEPT bully defenders, because well... He's tiny compared to most of them.

However he got himself open, held up the ball, distributed back to the midfield in great positions, and linked up well with everyone except Best. I get the feeling Best is quite selfish (Which is understandable right now, he's supposed to be playing harder than most other players to deserve a spot up front) There was one instance where lovenkrands fed best the ball, then peeled off to make a clever run along the back side of their line. It opened up beautifully for Best to knock it through, or chip it into the path of Lovenkrands, but instead he slid it through for Barton then looked immediately to get the ball back from Barton's square and failed miserably
