No Barnes played Centre Mid and controll the game for the first half hour until he ran out of steam a bit (didn`t realise he was quite as sizeable as he was). The winger was another lad who did White for pace again and again, which is no mean feat, very impressive.

i see what your getting at, i would like to see vayrynen and forsell more but i find it hard to fit them in. I wouldnt say becchio and forssell clearly have more quality either. I know its wierd for a striker but keogh's game isnt about scoring goals and i think that is helping the team more than it seems. His link up play is easily better than becchio's. As for forssell, well i think he will continue to feature from the bench for now at least

Completely agree about Keogh. He's a crap finisher, but his link up play is way better than Becchio's. His first touch is fantastic, great work rate and has done well with McCormack. I'd never play Forsell over Keogh, although I do think Becchio should be started next game.

I think that even if Becchio gets his place back, Keogh should still be signed permanently. Last season, whenever Becchio was injured, we struggled without a striker who could hold the ball up well. Keogh does that brilliantly, so it's good to have 2 similar type of players challenging for the same place.

Yes but I doubt that Ross could score as many as he has if it wasn't for Keogh. Keogh creates many chances and goals. He will run for balls that other strikers just won't. The best strike partnership has a poacher/clinical goalscorer (such as Ross) who doesn't work amazingly hard but is always in the right spot to pounce and score and a creator (such as Keogh) who will create the chances the finisher will finish off. If we bring Becchio in, Ross won't score half as many as he is doing atm, which pains me because Becchio is a legend.

Becchio worked fine as the foil for Beckford (and Somma a few times). Hell, even Paynter managed to link up with Ross well. Why shouldn't Becchio be able to do the same for McCormack?

i really do think dropping keogh is not the best thing for the team. It would be a mistake IMO

Have you heard the one about the man with a duck on his shoulder that went into a bar and said: "If you want to know what everyone in football aspires to be, it's Leeds". The barman said: "OK,what's the pig drinking?" The man looked offended and said: "This is a duck, not a pig!" "I was talking to the duck" the barman said.

    You have to larff ....

    I don't get it.

When did the Southapton fan walk in so that the barman could know to ask the duck what the Southampton fan was drinking?

From his profile: "terrypaine has not made any friends yet"

    I wonder why...

Was that meant to be your interpretation of Bernard Manning's parrot joke?

Totally agree with Leeds18and going back through my memory since 1955 I don,t think we have lost at Doncaster since I was last there in 55 I think we won 2-1 that day .I remeber the Doncaster team had Harry Gregg in goal later with Man U Charlie Williams at centre half destined for great things as a comedian but believe me he was no laugh to play against used to kick lumps out of Big Johnand Alick Jefferies centre forward who was expected to become the next Tommt Taylor unfortunately got injured playing for the under21 and never got back to his best which for Englands sake was a great pity

I look for an early goal from McCormack and then wait for the quick reply from Donny.

Second half another goal from Becchio and then the screaming habdabs till the final whistle at 2-1 to Leeds
