FSG have always been cheap They built a team on the sale of two players (both to Barca), that team worked out for 3 years and now its reaching the end. They've made it clear that this summer they aren't willing to take the risk to start building a new team, a team that would be required to compete with the oil teams. Instead they appear to be hanging their hopes on VvD coming back into the team and trying to recapture the spark. I want FSG to **** or get off the pot. Either they admit they can't compete with the mega rich or double down and do something (I hate that we come off as a second thought behind the Red Sox). Not spending is fine when you're top of the league, but time has moved on. Just because they're not H&G doesn't make them good owners.
Who said being bought by an oil nation I wan't FSG to stop being so cheap. I don't want us to have the notion that VvD is going to solve all our problems. There are bigger problems that need solving.
If we speed things up and play aggressive football we'll murder them but there still doesn't seem to be that belief.
Quality delivery from TAA again. His delivery this game has been top notch. Bruno walking off the pitch as we line up the free kick to go 2-1 up cos he was so injured by kicking Thiago was funny
Alright lad, they can saddle us with a **** load of debt instead. They run the club as a business, its not a plaything, they arnt going piss money away. Buying the league isn't an achievement, youve only got to look at the "dozens" who tipped up for city's celebration. An achievement is something you work for, outworking everyone else, be cleverer than everyone, not spending daddies money to do what ever you want.
Well done so far! I hope you guys win this. It is about time you beat Newton Heath on a regular basis. Just a query- your away record is better than your home record. As far as I recall, only Leicester from the top half of the división have beaten you away. Is that right?
