Hell of a lot of confidence from the Jacks, I dare say almost bordering on arrogance! Should be a good one anyway!
Whatever! Just because we love our team and fancy our chances, you consider us arrogant. I feel your inability to understand that any supporter of any team in professional sport, should not fear going to Carrow Road and giving 100% and believing they can win, even more arrogant. Do you honestly expect someone who takes time out of their day to post about their team, then say they will lose to you? I suspect you fancy a win tomorrow also! We know it's going to be tough, but however let us fell good about supporting our team without bordering on insults, and we will let you feel good about supporting yours. There has been some excellent and intelligent banter so far. Please, lets not bring it down. May the best team win PS (Swansea 2 Norwich 1)!
Arrogant ??? Can't see that at all, do you want us all coming on here saying we are going to lose because of your fragile sensibilities ? If so let us know and we will all come here saying we will lose then go on another thread to discuss the game !
Wow, shut down the 'arrogance' talk straight away! Good to see! We aren't going to come onto a match day thread and predict a Norwich win as Swansea fans - as good as you think your team are, we've got a right as the opposition to believe that our team is better. Doesn't mean we will win as football is a funny old game. Look at last years game at Carrow Road as an example of that - we ruined you all game, missed a penalty 5 mins from time, and then score an own goal to give you all 3 points. Football will be football and we all know that. But don't tell us we're arrogant for believing that our own team can win tomorrow. My prediction : 2-3 Swans
Didn't say it was arrogant, just bordering on it. You can't go around saying "oh yeah its only Norwich away" (or words to that effect), it's going to be a bloody tough game for both teams! Apologies if my comments came across as confrontational, just surprised at the over confidence! I'd expect a draw away at the Liberty, doesn't mean I'm not passionate about my team! If you do take all three points, then fair play, but you can't just expect it. Can't we all be friends?!
Haha friends? How about friendly rivals? Very few expect a win, but we're confident that if our team play to potential we'll take the points. I'd expect you to have the same opinion on your team. That's what makes games like this exciting - two teams equally good enough to win the game, and both sets of fans confident of taking the points!
I propose a compromise here, peeps. If Wales beat France in egg-chasing in New Zealand early on, it seems only fair for England - the prettiest part of it - to beat Wales at soccer @ 15.00 hrs, just to restore parity and to stop Welsh heads swelling too much. Do we have ourselves a deal?? I mean, you don't want to cram all your celebrations into one day, there's no sense in that! Thanks for being so understanding. Great thread again, CS!
"oh yeah its only Norwich away" The only poster that's said that is a Canaries fan. The point we've all been making is that some Norwich fans, here and on other threads, have said we've been dodgy away. In fact we've taking a thumping from Chelsea and Man City (playing well in both at times, really) whilst gifting Arsenal a goal they would never have got otherwise. So some perspective is called for. Like it or not, Norwich aren't in that bracket. No confrontation, just reality. It'll be a tough game no doubt but we've got every right to be confident, particularly bearing in mind your performance against the Baggies which wasn't the best.
Sorry but what do you mean, not in the same bracket?? Weve played chelsea and man utd away and deserved atleast apoint at SB and should have beaten man utd, but we didnt! Just like you didnt get your points from your games so how are we not in the same bracket? Im going for a 5-0 thumping to norwich
He means we're not in the same bracket as Chelsea/ Man City/ Arsenal! He's right but we've easily got enough for a comfortable 2-0 home win against Swans. Their keeper is the only reason I'm not going to agree with your 5-0 prediction!
Let`s play nicely now!. I`ve predicted a Norwich win on our prediction league, as per our away results so far. This has got to change sooner or later, so if our corner backs and safeties can withstand the tight ends muscling their way forward, we`re in with a chance. Our centre needs to link with the 1/4 back more effectively. It should be a good game, like last year, two attractive sides who know how each other plays. Just for devilment, I`m going for a Swans win by the odd goal. Coming from behind, just like the Packers last week. Great thread by the way. please log in to view this image
Just to let Swans posters know that due to this quality thread, and the fact I've spent all week tying up loose ends in Ibiza before spending today moving back to Wales, means I can't do one of my match threads. Come on the Swans!
That`s unsportsmanlike conduct Scott. 15 yard penalty & an automatic first down. Just getting in an undeserved call. Don`t throw your challenge flag in, not yet anyway.
I like our Swansea bros, no matter what the result i wish you guys good luck for the remainder of the season.... Just keep beating Ipswich next seasonVoodoo
I've never been to Norwich (or Norfolk), probably the only county in England that I haven't visited. But from everything I see and hear - nice city, nice part of the world, good football team, friendly supporters. Maybe I'll retire there! After 3 tough away games to start the season I think most Swans fans will have seen this game as the first real chance to take a point or points on the road. As we were close last season and still close together so far in the Prem I'm predicting a draw, 1-1.
It'll be a tight game tomorrow as neither will want to lose Regardless of the result, I like the swans and their fans. Here's to both of us finishing above Colin and qpr in may
I_Clean: "so how are we not in the same bracket?" Please read threads before responding, mate. And I am playing nice.
