Perhaps I shouldn't have bought the spicy Jamaican fried chicken seasoning it's opened a Pandora's box of issues
If you get it crispy then it's nice but if the oil isn't hot enough then it's just evil saturated grease .
I generally am not a fan of meat from the bone. You end up eating the tendon and cartilage and **** like that. Sometimes spare ribs are nice, but not really a fan of chicken wings and other pish like that.
I'm very happy with mine, only use it for chips and get the frozen French fries type which cook absolutely perfectly. Just a bog standard £30-£40 one, nothing fancy.
I'm guessing marinated wings will work well but nothing too wet. Can you try do egg and coated wings and get back to me
Seemingly the business partner(now sole owner, after the other partner died) of that place tells the employees to make the portions as small as possible, almost miserly.
It still doesn't stop negroes demanding the choice bits. Ever been to a KFC/Morleys/Favourite chicken shop with a person of ethnicity? "yeah, mi want tree piece chicken meal" "chicken wing, leg or breast?" "mi nah want leg ar wing, gimme bress. No not dat one, no, dat one and di one next it, no di udder side af it, yes dat one and di one at di back, di big one dem, mi nah want no dibby piece, get dat big one. Ras clart."* * an approximation of any lunchtime in the Uxbridge Road branch of KFC, obviously peppered with as many teeth kissing noises as you fancy as well as the inevitable pauses while Terry chats to his mates on his mobile phone.** ** Do you think this is made up? It could be but when I regaled my dark chums (imaginary of course, I have no black friends, obviously) with this anecdote they p.issed themselves laughing and said they were duty bound not to let the little Pakistani chaps foist bony bits of wing on them, us honkies could be given those. Or this is just a figment of my imagination without a grain of truth? I care not what you believe.
It was more a joke about Scrooge and his dead business partner Jacob Marley. Admittedly one letter of the surname is different but I thought the "miserly" bit might have given it away. Evidently not.
You need to flag sh.it like that, when I am in full grumpy bastard mode it is hard to pick up nuances. But well done, I get it now. Question. Do you get frequent fryer miles?
