Think next season first 4 places are already booked by Man City Man Utd Chelsea and Liverpool cannot be as poor as this season. Spurs will be up there depending on new manager. WHU and Arsenal will be similar to this season but Leicester improve each year and Everton with this manager and the new owners money and the new stadium will improve. It will be tough to have improved the team enough to ensure we compete at the highest level all season. Lets not forget that the top teams hardly lost any games not so long ago

The Radz plan was 4 years so that means another 3 seasons to do it and I think its possible to achieve. If we do earlier great, but for it to happen earlier we would also need to see teams like Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Villa etc have a poor season. Man Utd have had 3 poor seasons until this one Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal have all been poor, so nothing nailed on

Even that's getting near on impossible, I'm a member of a few clubs, for when Leeds play them, but some want history of ticket sales over previous seasons when Leeds are there.

I still get emailed by Millwall <doh> ffs. No point being on their database anymore <whistle>

Always used to watch us at Ipswich but the last time I tried to get a ticket they said they'd noticed the only times I'd attended Portman Road was when Leeds were the opposition <whistle> they're not loaded with money so if they want to turn down my £35 that's their problem. They could see I'd been to about 20 games already, I was hardly going to start kicking off now (even though we usually lost :headbang:) Won't be playing there for a while either so **** 'em

    QPR, Reading, Charlton the same.

I had the same with Ipswich, they sent me loads of crap through the post then said I can't have a ticket as I had no history from the previous season even though our game was the last one of the season. Already had my hotel booked.

So Derby found guilty but due to an appeal were not given a points deduction.

The Derby appeal worked on a technicality so no points deduction and it turns out our former shyster cheif exec Harvey agreed in writing for Derby to use the sale of the stadium to its owner was ok to do. Harvey subsequently had to resign fast and get a £5m payout, but Derby still wanted for bent accounting techniques, so appealed the appeal.

Derby now found partially guilty (WTF) and a new sanction will be levied at some stage. Not sure when but Derby will get a sanction at some stage? Never heard anything like it, what a joke, see if you can work out when Derby will get a sanction, what sanction, will it be a fine or points deduction or a slap on the wrist. Remember it was Derby who got us a £200k fine for breaking no rules,

An EFL statement said: "The [independent league arbitration] panel concluded that the disciplinary commission was wrong to dismiss the league's expert accountancy evidence, which demonstrated that the club's policy regarding the amortisation of player registrations was contrary to standard accounting rules."

It added: "The club and EFL will now have the opportunity to make submissions on the appropriate sanction arising out of those breaches.

"Despite media speculation there is no definitive timescale for a determination on sanction, though the league will press for a decision as soon as reasonably possible and will provide a further update at the appropriate time."

A Derby statement added: "The club and the EFL have agreed that the matter shall now be remitted back to the original disciplinary commission who can determine what, if any, consequences arise from the partial success of the EFL's amortisation charge, and the club is therefore currently unable to comment further."

The ruling comes following a difficult season for Derby, which came to a positive conclusion when manager Wayne Rooney's side survived in the Championship by the narrowest of margins thanks to a 3-3 draw with Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

Agree with your sentiment but the first thing is to establish ourselves as a premier league club and not a “yo-yo” club. Quite a few newly promoted sides go down in the 2nd season. Has Bielsa got all he can out of the players he brought up from the championship? Personally I’ll be satisfied with another season safe from relegation nice and early and see if we push on from there. It is going to be difficult to break into the top six. Depends on whether Arsenal can improve and who spurs get in as coach. The difference against them was the fact that we played as a team well coached by a brilliant manager and they had a rookie who put all his mates and “best” players in hoping one of them would turn in an individual match winning performance.

I'm a little puzzled by this. Surely if Derby had falsified the books with their interpretation of amortisation, being found guilty would mean that they had to re-submit their books with the amortisation calculated correctly. That would almost certainly mean that they failed the FFP rules (or they'd never have done it in the first place!), meaning they should be sanctioned for that failure. Surely they can't have it both ways?
