Yeah and then gets an ordinary 6th place in the race. Like many have said practice is nothing but... practice.
Alright... alright, calm down..... :L 6th-7th-8th is the target for 2011 anyway, the MGP-W02 is not the strongest of cars on the grid.
Haha, I'm all right and cool, but I was just pointing out something. I do however fear the 2012 Mercedes won't be good either, but let's wait and see they could produce a wonderful car that they should have in 2010 or at least 2011.
They keep pointing out they were glorious in the past, but it is the present and future they need to concentrate on now. Times are moving and teams are getting better around them. They need a kick up the back side, both Nico and Michael are exceptional drivers with tremendous raw speed and talent. Mercedes have so much financial backing... but they do nothing with it. Yeah I was expecting both 2010 and 2011 to be special, they were the opposite.
Bruno was awful in practice today. He surely doesn't deserve a 2012 drive with performances like this. Not a big fan of his new helmet design either. Bruno Lalli shouldn't live off his uncle's glory.
I hadn't noticed how poor the pit exit is, apparently a blue light has been placed along the straight which lights up when someone is about to exit the pits as a warning for the driver on track, but that doesn't compensate for a woeful design! Apparently Horner commented on the pits last year, saying it would have made far more sense if the circuit was run in the opposite direction, surely not? Speaking of woeful, organisation doesn't appear to be too good at the circuit, just look at this article!
This circuit is a joke, the pit is stupidly positioned so that the cars exit into the flow of the racing line. Rosberg and Jaime are definitely not to blame for anything, even Jaime had a rant over the team radio. Verdict: **** track.
I honestly love the track. The middle sector looks great and a challenging last sector but the pit lane entry and exit just ruin the track completely.
Performances like this? He has mostly performed very well since he replaced Heidfeld. If it came down between Senna or Petrov then I would choose Senna because he is at least as fast as Petrov and is better technically and has already incorporated himself into the team better than Petrov. I also do not see any problem paying tribute to his uncle, Ayrton da silva, the new design bit on the top is also for a charity. Wow that really does not sound good. Would of expected better from Koreans. (according to my racial stereotypes)
How selective of you, for not 2 minutes later he was spinning off track and into a fence 50 yards from the track.
hahaha ive only just read both of your signatures. All i can say is that actually made me lol i wonder which one of you started it off. classic
What is there to explain? The top picture is the 2012 prototype front wing; the other one is the current front wing. Scarbs should be writing about it tonight.
Speaking of that fountain of knowledge Scarbs, do you think it's worth starting a list of useful F1 websites somewhere on this forum, either in the house rules or in The Pits? Technically minded info is relatively hard to come by for F1, so it might be helpful to everyone to collate a few pages.
