Its not the time to chuck both Ji and Wickham in at the deep end at the Emirates IMO, so I'd probably stick with 4-2-3-1 for the weekend away to the Arsenal. The time for 2 up front is v Bolton and Villa, games we certainly must try to win. A draw at the Emirates would be just fine for me. Mignolet O Shea, Brown, Turner, Richardson Catts, Vaughan Larsson, Gardener, Sess Ji Westwood, Elmo, Colback, Laing, Wickham (if fit) any 2 others. We need to take a point from the game and this would offer us best chance imo.
I think we'd all like to see that line-up, but i'd bet my house on us being unchanged from the WBA game!
Agree with would accept a point now but believe we are expected to get beat. For that reason i would go with both Wickham (if fit) & Ji upfront as arsenals defence has been w*nk this season. Get an early goal and once again they may capitulate. Once again tho being a Sunderland supporter i fully expect us to let them get their confidence back by being too defensive minded and allowing them to play free flowing football. Please prove me wrong SB, get your tactics right and prove me wrong.
