He'll have had plenty of options. He was coming off the back of some solid seasons for Burnley who've done well and he was free. Fraser was the same.
The big killers for us is Shelvey, Muto and Joelinton. Scary 204K per week on 3 guys who add very little value to the club. Looking at Fraser's injury record since arriving, he'd be a concern. Hopefully the takeover will see us finally sort this squad out and get rid of the deadwood. I can't believe Rafa dumped Toney and Armstrong in favour of signing the likes of Muto, Joselu Absolute madness. Those two ****ers have got about 60 odd Championship goals between them this year. Regardless of whether you are a Rafa fan or not, given we only recouped about 2.1m for the pair, these were disasterous decisions.
Fraser had a good few seasons for Bournemouth but I get you don't like him. He had a very good season before the stellar one. Then he had the likes of Arsenal and various others sniffing. Then he had a poor season the following season (as did Wilson). Hendrick would have had good solid PL options. Wilson was sought after by Chelsea at one stage and wouldn't have ever arrived here. All three were on paper sensible signings for a fee of 20m and our type of bargains. The big concern with Fraser is he has barely played and seems to have developed a liking for our treatment room. Being playing well for Scotland typically. Its been a bad start whichever way you cut it. Hendrick I wanted to give a chance to but I honestly can't see what he adds. Wilson has worked out. To Mike that's good business.
