Just watching MOTD earlier, aint it 'bout time Bielsa learnt to speak English ffs, I mean this is his 3rd season in English football and he still dont speak a lick of English. I mean, he seems to be doing a good job as manager but ffs mate, at least put some effort in to learn
Chesney to Everton ? @Tobes Everton could sign Poland and former Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny from Juventus this summer but Paris St-Germain are also interested in the 31-year-old.
Thats one of the most childish things I have ever heard. "You can't speak English!" "Yeah I can" "Go on then" "No, dont want to..." Fair enough if this was his first season, but after 3 years in a country I would make the effort to speak it as much as possible
This is what Poch did when at Saints apparently. Could speak enough English to talk to his players but didn't want to get misinterpreted during interviews so spoke in Spanish for first couple of years
I actually enjoy the post match interviews with the cockney translator. When he gets it wrong and Bielsa tells him off, like he's his dad I didn't watch it yesterday but it happens so often I look forward to those interviews more than the dull, predictable shpeel of the English speaking managers.
Fair enough, I just find it strange that no other foreign manager seems to do this. At most it will just be a laugh for the cameras. After 3 years he should have most of the cliche manager jargon down. "We were unlucky" "We controlled the game" "Now we focus on the next game" etc
Arsenal v West Brom this evening. Arsenal in 10th looking to leapfrog Leeds for no incentive other than not to be in the bottom half of the table. Zero enthusiasm for this game ... this is what you've done to me Arsenal
