Either way, just remind yourselves now and then that no one knows anything about this takeover other than what is public domain. Arbitration may not have begun. It may well have been lost. Ashley may be angling for damages. He may not be. No one knows. In all likelihood we won't know for a long time. Legal proceedings with this degree of powerplay take a long time. Six months was suggested earlier today and it wouldn't surprise me if a final resolution is even longer than that. But anyone claiming insider knowledge is lying or a bit simple. You won't get an inside scoop from a PM on a football forum or from the Alien Shagger on Twitter. All anyone can do is wait. No magic dates, no cryptic messages in bread, just simple patience and waiting for the legal verdict.

I think your right in some respects. I’m sceptical about all the takeover stuff. If it’s not officially sorted for the start of the transfer window then I think it’s all over. I cannot see PIF waiting another half season or full season. The arbitration I think would be scheduled to start post season anyways for me. When we knew we where in the PL still. There would be no point in pursuing it otherwise.
The only correct position is to say I don't know if it will happen or not.. It's fine to add you think it will or it won't, but the word think is key.
