I don't know if this point has been argued, but why did God have to have a creator? It's a common atheist question but I think its the same as asking "who created anger".....its not created...it just exists

Atheists generally ask who created god in response to the theistic claim that everything had to have a creator.
If something can just exist, then there's no reason to believe that matter and/or energy don't, so we don't need to resort to a hypothetical and unproven god.

If everything had a creator then god must of had a creator. If god didnt have a creator then god doesnt exist as he was never created.

Christians believe god created all there is and all there will ever be. If god was never created then god has never been.

Thats a mainly christian argument tbf. Which is what most debates on theism v athiesm end up as
The quran and hadiths do deal with the question

in simple terms its beyond the 'creations'/mans understanding. simply because we see creation as being like us. wheras a creator has to be nothing like his creation
eg a table doesnt look like a carpenter

The original post (which was so long ago it must have started at the same time as the big bang) was :-

"Question for atheists, please could you explain your theories on the beginning of creation"

Why ask an atheist what they don't believe in? It is a redundant question and the sort of nonsense we used to waste hours debating in the 6th form common room. All you need is a few spotty teenagers dressed like Morrissey and a Che Guevara poster and I'll be right back there.
