It says that they are both rare, both are a good candidate for extinction.

without question, IMO, the worst ever was the Twydale Turkeys shirt. City have had many turkeys wearing them down the years but to advertise that fact ? utter disgrace.

I've never thought about getting a shirt and putting a name/ number on the back. Dunno why just seems weird to me seeing grown men/ women doing something that you used to do as a kid. I'm not criticising anyone who does by the way.

Maybe it's because when, i was first getting into City the players weren't that good. Might be different if i was 11/ 12 now.

To answer you're question and to add to the other replies- Glennon or Lewis.

I buy a home shirt every season and have done for about the last 15 years (haven't taken the plunge this year yet, for the first time will probably wait till they've been reduced) and have only ever had two names put on the back - Windass for our first season in the Prem in recognition of the goal that got us there and Ashbee in the second prem season in recognition of being our greatest ever captain. I did it more for history's sake for me when I look back at my collection in year's to come. Can't see any other player making me want to do that for a while.

I imagine fitting 'Venegoor of Hesselink' on the back of the shirt wasn't an easy task for the club shop staff! I know someone who sits near me at games has Halmosi on the back of their shirt!

I've just realised, that original one has name and number printed on a shirt from the early 90s. Why would you get name and number printed when we didn't have squad numbers at the time?

Negredo, Owen, Zamora, Campbell and Fortune. That would have been an amazing front line. The sad thing is we all believed it at the time.

Back on topic, as a kid I nearly always had names on shirts. I had an Elliott 7 one, a Green 14 one and a Dudfield 8 one from before that. The worst one was probably my Walters 11 shirt. He actually wasn't that bad as a player, but he definitely wasn't a fans' favourite!

I'll have to keep my tiger stripe shirt for a few more years then i think, that's crazy money. I've had shirts over the years barmby, ash and Bullard, think my mrs will be wearing the Bullard shirt, I'll be wearing my Karoo one with no name to be on the safe side lol, yet to by this seasons shirt but will do soon I expect, and will prob have chester or fryatt printed
