like I said a few weeks ago the ESL thing is a massive boost to the takeover as it draws attention to the influence of the big 6.

 

One of which is completely unconnected with PIF, MA, NUFC, AS and the Rueben brothers.

Not only that, MBS is not legally involved in the takeovers. He is so far removed from it.

I just think that, under pressure, the PL had to come up with something that they thought might swing it in their favour. Make the Saudi kingdom (or MBS) a director and bang the next step is then to use the O and D test to block it.

I bet they didn’t envisage what happened thereafter and now they are so far down a hole they cannot recover.

the arbitration and that new claim are separate. Looks like Mike has indeed upped the stakes to try to avoid having to Fanny around with arbitration.

my guess is masters will agree to pass the deal and cover some of mikes costs.

I just think it’s one less thing the PL need right now.

Our takeover is an easy one to move on. It has the least impact for them and repercussions.
