Couldn't you have added Waggy / Chilton / Darryl Duffy to give Deano a bit of competition?

I see your point, no denying that King and Campbell are good players who did well for us but i guess that is clouded by their actions since leaving the club.

When the others perform for us the way he did in 2007 and 2008, they can expect a vote.

in a city shirt, deano wins as best as well as most popular for me, like phil brown people also forget it wasnt just his championship heroics , it was the fact we probably would have gone to league 1 the season before without him too.

As our greatest ever manager chose Marlon over Deano, i will stick with Marlon too thanks all the same. Achievement in the Premiership dwarfs all other achievements admirable as they may have been.

So not the best striker then but definitely the most likable and popular. Even though he spat his dummy out and let us down in that prem season but we fans like to forget about that too.

Nah, rubbish. King had several good games for City, Deano had tons, he kept us up on his todd and he helped take us up. King had more ability but he didn't do more in a City shirt than Deano. It's not even close.
