Spurs / Chelsky / Lesta have equal GD, If that remains til the end, then if Spurs win all their remaining games : - Chelsky need 8 pts (2 wins + 2 draws) . Both have to play Lesta, but Chelsky have to play Citeh and the Goons. - Lesta need 6 pts. Two wins, or one win + 3 draws. They have to play Man Utd, and in theory they could face a final day showdown against Spurs. Spurs have not held their nerve at any point in the business end of this season, when other results went in their favour.
Yes, you're right. It's far from over. Leicester & Chelsea have a healthy advantage and none of the other teams are looking consistent enough to pass them, But there is a chance if one of the chasers can step up.
For us to catch either would require us to win all our games (Leeds (a) wolves (h) Villa (h) Leicester (a) and for : 1. Chelsea to lose 1 and draw 1 of their remaining 4 games (Man City (a) Arsenal (h) Leicester (h) and Villa (a)) 2. Leicester to lose 1 and draw 2 of their remaining 4 games (Newcastle (h) Man Utd (a) Chelsea (a) Spurs (h). 3. For West ham to get less points than us even though they have a game in hand 4. For Liverpool to get less points than us even though they have a game in hand. Considering our luck and form at crucial times over the past 15 years ... 2006 final day illness. 2009 league Cup final 2010 fa cup semi final defeat 2012 fa cup semi final and league run in 2013 league run in 2015 league cup final Final 4 games of 2015-16 season 2017 fa cup semi final 2018 fa cup semi final 2019 CL final 2021 league cup final I won't be holding my breath
2010 you say ... Although those four games were far more harder, the teams' self-belief rose with each game completed.
Hi guise. Just came to see if Gary Neville has convinced you lot he's on your side and wants only the best for all football clubs in the football pyramid?
Went to the fa cup semi final with my then 12 Yr old and a mates kid...was awful. We played the goons 3 days later and was at that too...talk about highs and lows. Had one of the best goals I have seen live (still in my top 3) and the best goalkeeping display I have seen live. Gomes was the MOTM for me. He was brilliant that night.
How did we lose that semi - I recall that until extra time it was one way traffic and we had a goal disallowed in very dubious circumstances - still thats Spurs for you
There was a hideous bounce in our box for their first and a very late penalty for their second ... it made get Top 4 all the more sweeter ! Think the run in was Arsenal, Chelsea, United and City .
I'm struggling to come up with anything much of any consequence.... Oh yes, we finally sacked Mourinho. That was good. Otherwise, not so much. You?
I was pretty ill for a while but decided to live, so that I could come back to annoy the wife's family.
Good decision. You wouldn't want to miss Gareth Southgate's inauguration as Spurs manager now would you?
