Remember Remember the 5th of November

On Saturday 5th November Nottingham Forest visit Fratton Park in the Championship.

What kind of reception do you think Steve Cotterill will get when he walks out and heads for the away bench?

 

I think that will all depend on the results we pick up before now and then and how the team reacts to him leaving.

Its funny because my cousins fiancée is a massive forest fan, coming down for this match on the 5th and I have already pre-warned him about SC and the 451 long ball approach! They do not seem deterred though!

I will be honest and say that I was sticking up for SC in the early season - hoping we would turn the corner and play like we should be playing with the personnel we have - but I just couldn't see it with the constant 4-5-1 and long ball tactics!

I think now is the right time for SC to depart - we get some cash out of it too, and we can now get someone in who is going to do a job for us - Uncle Avram back home? Curbs? Jones? Davis? - these are the types of managers that CSI need to get involved!

 

Urgh - I can see it now........... Forest start climbing up the league and we languish behind them. Apart from a couple of players this whole squad is SCs, I wonder how they will react to him leaving.

They had better play well tomorrow!!

You should see some of the names being put forward - even Robert Prosinecki (now wouldn't that be something!)

 

I am awaiting a press release from CSI to fully understand their position - but the reported £300,000 will do some good in getting someone else in.

Teams normally play out of their skin when a manager leaves - a rallying call by the captain is needed to make sure the 20 odd professionals we have at the club are still a team, and on paper, a decent one at that - if I was an unemployed manager (or to that degree, an employed one) - then I would be chuffed to bits to see the team I had inherited!

Lets hope SC comes in for Moks & Kits in January - would love to see us get some more money out of them!
