I didn’t catch the first 20 mins but since switching on, I think we’ve been ok. A bit slow in possession sometimes which is letting them get into shape and pressure our midfielders when we try and play out.

Decent move, but Lo Celso really shouldn't be shooting from there. Not had a bad half, though. Some nice passes.

1-0 HT. Not bad. Plenty of possession and some nice football at times, but plenty to improve on.
Good to see some intent and the side playing on the front foot.

 

It’s been a decent half, albeit lacked a bit of cutting edge up top but to more or less quote what I said after the away fixture, Sheffield are absolutely horrendous so it shouldn’t be a complete surprise we’re looking this good so far. Think they’ve gotta be the worst team in the Prem since that season Derby finished bottom.

Lovely finish from Bale and the pass from Aurier matched it, hopefully we can be a bit more clinical in the second and grab a few more, they’re definitely there for the taking.
