Right. F1 race has finished now. Frank's decided on his pizza and phoned it in. Zanj's snooker is on pause, not that that matters anyway. Can they get the riot kit, rubber bullets and tear gas out at Old Trafford now?

The problem with these sort of protests is they always attract the wrong sort and end up being counter-productive. Instead of an orderly civil action it turns into a belligerent confrontation which only serves to justify more extreme control measures.
Perhaps easier said than done, but the organisers ought take steps to keep these things among the genuine supporters who care about their club instead of the rentamob lot that inevitably turn up.
Idiots of all persuasions jeopardise the freedoms of us all in the long run.

it is patently obvious the law has been broken. Its called trespass and criminal damage.

encouraging similar ought to cost him his job.

let him go be a free ranting hero if he wants for the rabble.

As long as those dips are nowhere near any kind of pizza. Dips with pizza is uncultured philistinism of the highest order and a symptom of sub-par pizza

They're still claiming peaceful protest despite cameras (probably Sky Sports property too) clearly being smashed

i am not saying anyone should or should not dip their pizza into the taco or sour cream sauces they get.

I leave it up to people to decide if they want to act responsibly. (unlike garry neville :) )

Interesting reading the BBC and watching sky, the two view points are polar opposites

Sky showing reluctant support and repeating peaceful as many times as possible.

BBC possibly a bit more realistic, fans have done themselves no favours with there actions.

Neville now advocating coming back tomorrow (as it suits his club, the one he has actively encouraged damage to)

    carragher helping his mate out.

keane as usual having none of it as clearly men will get on with it.

This will do the movement for fan involvement no end of good - who wouldn't want this sort in the boardroom?

sky have clearly got it wrong but have "more" staff on site and a lot of equipment in the media compound for broadcast so maybe they are trying to down play but they are clearly following neville with his narrative that this was all fine and was fully expected and utd's own fault they didn't lock the doors and have enough security.

they have not mentioned any invasion of the tunnel area by a small cohort or criminal damage and IMO they will really regret it tomorrow when the papers are full of it and other stations go to town on it.

Seems to me anyone with sense has rang their kid having seen them in there and told them to get the hell away and fans groups have all melted away not wanting to be branded with it.

Its largely irrelevant but now has put the ESL to bed, the prem now will run scared from either angering fans or stoking them up. the longer it takes to come back to this (say sometime in the june or july) then it will all be long forgotten.

You can tell from the images exactly the sort that are mostly responsible for this, stained sweatpants and b.o. infested hoodies that haven't been washed since the day they first wore them, roadman trainers and JD puffer jackets all round

Neville and Keane are pushing this, Souness and Carragher aren't as keen. Funny that isn't it? <laugh>

It's pathetic that club alliances and rivalries can't be put aside in such a pressing issue.

Call it exactly what it is ffs. A peaceful protest is fine, criminal damage isn't.

Sky are now still pumping neville to stoke this further and keep on going after the ESL and blaming the glaziers.

Absolutely no condemnation of the fans. Everything is an excuse for why this happened including football results, everything is this is why they were right to do it.

thankfully nobody got hurt (we think)
