It is. Exactly the same. I’m fed up of watching Shelvey. And longstaff has started doing exactly the same. They never ever close players down. Easiest 45 minutes of Arsenals season. Special mention to Wilson who has literally had nothing to feed off. Bruce getting it completely wrong again. The Cat Funt.
We’ve been pure schooled in that first half by a team who days ago were in Spain playing a European Quarter Final. There was no better time to play these & once again were throwing it down the ****ter. Useless ****s.
That’s really piss poor. Fitness looks poor, and as soon as arsenal get the ball the players sprint back to their own goal line to defend as deep as possible. Everything we’ve been **** at that’s put us in such trouble this season is on display, inexcusable from Bruce that the team is doing this. Deep defending, far too much respect for the opponents just because they’re called arsenal, no press, no movement and some individual disaster shows particularly from Shelvey, Longstaff and Almiron.
I would love to see the stats on Shelvey and Longstaff. They have literally done nothing all that first half.
This is back to what we were doing before Jones came in. Parked on the edge of out 18 yard box and just asking almiron to run himself into the ground hoping arsenal score an own goal from 125 yards
