Most recently managed Hearts, also good at developing young teams.

Indeed but got to presume we won’t, this squad have already proven they aren’t capable of promotion.

There was a time when I would have liked Stendel. He was sacked by Barnsley following a run of 10 games without a win, something that you criticise Johnson for.

But he's not their manager now, just wondered what he was doing now. If he's so highly rated.
Then again I suppose he would be a cheap appointment if he hasnt got a job

Johnson didn’t and Bristol city fans or 99.9% were mightily relieved when they parted company.

Let’s get through These playoffs and into the championship
We know Johnson is not good enough to take us all the way
However until we get into the championship we have to trust in Johnson

That's no guarantee he would do it again though (his results at Hearts were awful) and there is no guarantee that because Johnson hasn't that he won't achieve promotion with us.

99.9% of all stats are made up. Well I could say substantiate your claim but of course you couldn't. Anyway it's just deflection. I just wondered what such an outstanding candidate was doing now.

Putting that to one side l would have jumped at the chance of Stendell rather than Parky but the powers that be weren't exactly forward looking at that time. Now I'm not so sure.
Any other possible candidates that could improve us long term

I am supremely confident he won’t achieve it tbh.

You could look at Bristol city forums and see how they can’t stand him.

Oh I have and there are quite a few vociferous individuals who clearly weren't impressed but I don't think that reflects 99.9% of Bristol City supporters

Anyway any other outstanding candidates for manager of SAFC?

LJ will be our manager next year without a doubt. 'Fans' calling for his axing are attention-seeking buffoons.

There are many of us on here who would agree with you on that, and that will probably be the case with a few exceptions. We have to have faith that the club can make significant progress once most of these are gone and a new squad is assembled.
