It's completely pointless just like trundle wheels I've never once had to or felt the need to ever use it since leaving school

 

Yeah, I'm sat here thinking the same. It's one of those things you're never likely to use but if you understand it proves you have a certain level of intelligence and ability to learn. A lot of what you do in education is just this.
