Changes have already happened in the structure at the club. It would be wise to allow the owner a Transfer window before dismissing him as 'just like all the rest'. I'm all for giving people the chance to prove themselves to me and I'll do that with KLD.

I prefer to hope for the best, rather than expect the worst.

Short was a good owner in that he funded us, and we should have achieved more. His downfall was his choice of people at the top and his failure to scrutinise what they were doing with his money. He also knew nothing about the business side of football. Too many players were bought for good money and sold for peanuts, which is a recipe for disaster.

KLD is going to be much more hands on and has studied the Business side of Football in this country. He has Shorts wealth and excellent contacts and will be scrutinising everything that happens at the club. We should all be patient and see where we are in 5 years time.

I really hope you are right, but I already think bad decisions have been made, namely the manager. The contract situation is also being used as a stick to beat the club with, though I understand it. This lot nearly all need to go whatever league we are in, squad of failures.

But you didn’t say that when he signed, or at any point until we lost a few games! Stop being a dick and try supporting the club instead of looking, at every opportunity, to find something or someone to slate. Club doesn’t need supporters like you

I was massively against his appointment. My heart sank when he became the bookies favourites and his odds got shorter. Never felt like that about an appointment before.

But if he’s right. You’ll never have a reason to post on here any more

No one wants this club to be a success more than me.

Since when he's secured 5 points from 4 games, so Johnson's is likely to be better now.

At every club he has bad runs like this, we simply can’t afford one next season as we HAVE to get promoted or I dread to think where we will be in 5 years time.

My wife's annoyed with me because I'm considering being the first man in history to order a salad from the takeaway, even when I get fried chicken in the end the damage is done.

I don't think it helped that earlier she was saying that she uses humour as a way to deflect tension and I said I've never noticed you say anything funny <laugh>

But it was only a fairly short bad run and he's turned it round today. We do need to get promoted but with the new owner its not imperative that its this season or even next season. They are here for the long haul.
And this sums up why you want to knock him. This isn't a dig, I get it. You want to be proven right but the facts are, he's nowhere near as bad as you want him to be. I'd have been the same if we appointed Nigel Pearson.

Funny you should say that, mine's annoyed at me because I'm on this forum instead of talking to her. <laugh>

You could argue it’s the worst run in our history, relative to the level we are playing at. It’s been an awful run and I genuinely can’t recall a team at this stage of the season totally bottling promotion like we have. Truly snatching defeat from the jaws of victory stuff. This manager won’t do anything here, and needs to go and someone else come in for next season irrespective of the league we are in. Though I think we all know we aren’t going to win the play offs .....

Good thing she doesn't know you're wasting your time trying to make the most stubbornly miserable person on the planet see sense.

I'm alright now, ordered the fried chicken and got her a G&T.
