Favourite to take every single job on the European and American continent I bet one of these days, Rafman will get one singular prediction right.
He's stuck up Rafa's arse. Unfortunately Rafa has been suffering from constipation for a while now, apparently it's the worry of being linked with Celtic, Spurs, Valencia, Juventus, Newcastle and every other f*cker on the planet. His representatives have indicated he just needs a good dump and hope Sunderland make an approach to alleviate his discomfort. Then and only then is it likely Rafman will appear.
If you want an update on Rafa. He's not joining any clubs until the Summer. Celtic never approached him as they didn't think he was attainable. They have spoken to Howe and he has all but agreed to join them, however since then he has been told there will be a few English jobs coming up in the next month or so, so he's holding back on Celtic for now to see what happens. Depending on if Hodgson sticks to his word on retiring at the end of the season, the Crystal Palace job will be available. Dyche is the favourite for that, in which case Burnley will then be available. Either or would suit Howe, that's what he's waiting for. There's been a few rumours that Celtic have since looked in to whether Rafa would be achievable, but it's whether they want to restructure the whole club or not. They have announced an increase in revenue and with rumours of the Old Firm joining the Premier League, it could be an attractive option for him. Hassenhutl is wanted in Germany, so Southampton could be available soon. Spurs. If Rodgers joins Spurs, Leicester will be available. Valencia have approached him and he's told them his demands. There hasn't been any more information since then. AC Milan could have a position soon. But Rafa has made it clear he's looking at jobs in England, France or Germany next.
Lots of Italian press are jumping on the Rafa bandwagon now. Rafa has stated that he would return to Napoli in the summer, should Gattuso be sacked. Rafa has been revealed to be on a 4 man shortlist for the Spurs job. His reps were approached by spurs a few days ago.
Nagelsmann, Ten Hag and Rodgers have turned Spurs down. Apparently Levy wanted a more youthful manager, but is now looking at experience. Rangnick and Rafa are the front runners, Allegri is also being considered, but he's apparently heading back to Italy.
