Munse lad, I've explained this more than once. I enjoy the avi bets and have had a good number over the years. A year would mean that either you or me could not enter into another avi bet for 12 months ... and that would be a restraint of trade for someone who enjoys them like me and, what's more, would deprive my fan club of some regular attention .. it would kill them ... despite them trying to put on brave little faces. The bet is still the bet... but I'm not interested in increasing the forfeit.
Think they may have learnt something from it mate ... ... but in that game we had already scored when their player was sent off and so they still needed to come out and get a goal to get something from the game ...
Two totally different games ... your defensive organisation after the red last night was excellent. It was virtually non-existent the season before, partly because you needed to come out... and we were very good and fresh that day ... whereas the game last night was our fourth in 12 days. Now got a full week's rest before the Toon to recharge the batteries.
There have been no excuses ... only an explanation of the differences ... when you are that dominant in a game you should win it. Credit to Southampton's defensive performance that we didn't ... indeed they could have taken all 3 points on the night if Jonny Evans hadn't scored that beauty... then I would really have been pissed off.
The difference between me and you is that I can handle the banter. You were out here hanging out my arse for months and then after nufc did the double over Everton I post a message saying more or less ha ha **** you ya homo and you took our ball home mate. Lighten up a bit
Rodgers had just mentioned 4 games in 13 days...... But you wouldn’t use that. Just a team stopping you from scoring.
To clarify: Two separate bets... as there could be 2 outcomes ... first bet avi change straight after the game (unless it's a draw) ... the second when the top 4 spots are finally decided.
I'm sure playing 4 times in 12 (or 13) days did not affect our energy levels in the slightest ... I put it squarely down to playing in blue, an unnaturally cold wind for this time of year and disastrously running out of Haribos on the team bus durung the journey down ... oh ... and Southampton defending very well, which I might just have mentioned before ...
Isn't 4 games in 13 days fairly normal? We had 4 games in 8 days earlier in the season. It was one of our better runs, too!
The difference between you and him is he throws stones, and dishes out "banter" while the other person is on ignore. Peej is the absolute definition of a tragic little bottom feeding **** In my humble opinion like
I remember us beating Palace 9-0 a few decades ago, and the general conclusion was that they didn't defend too badly at all, it was just that everything Liverpool hit went in. Backed up by the fact they knocked us out of a FA Cup semi-final a few months later. But that was before football was invented, in a time when clandestine and furtive meetings and shenanigans overthrew the evil empire of the Football League and replaced it with the altruistic and honourable Premier League, whose only ever concern has been the fans.
