Ah gotcha. Its an area, not a place and you're right only one r in the name. Very rural, about 45 mins N of Christchurch in the south island. The town would be Culverden which by UK standards probably has less amenities and population than your average motorway service station.
Tanswell got it wrong. Redders is available. If you listen to the interview Raph stumbled and started to say Redmond when he meant Bertrand. He corrected himself.
Adam Blackmore asked this specific question and Ralph confirmed it was an injury and hasn't been able to train for a week. Rolled his eyes at the suggestion it was a 'contract issue'.
Yeah it is indeed an injury, byt with his contract up at the end of the season, unless he recovers in the next couple of weeks his time is up. Unless of course he signs a new deal but you'd have thought that would have happened by now.
Bertrands commitment has been up and down for years. In fairness so has the standard of management but still, he would have been off long before now if anyone had wanted him. They might have, if looked more committed.
I do think the decision to let Target go was a bit short sighted and we would live to regret it. I said it at the time, and I still stand by that. Particularly as we've had LB troubles since then!
A depressing note on my skill as a fantasy manager: this year, I made it to the halfway mark of the season before I forgot that I had a team. Just checked it after this post, and I believe that my team has actually improved in the standings left to their own devices...
I love the optimism of this thread title but regret to say that I am not confident about tonight. Leicester need the win for different purposes and I think the injury situation will mean that we will lose this one. I am envisaging something like 4-0. I will not be a repeat of the boring semi final and am worried that we will implode again.
No one has said it is match day and I am buzzing. It would seem we are all pissed off with the world.
