Ferrari are going to test a 2012 front wing in practice. It is rumoured to look completely different to their 2011 one.

    Anyone staying up for FP1?

I was going to, but it is raining so there will probably not be much running so I might just go to sleep.

50 mins left, still almost no action on the track due to rain.

Well that was a boring session. Not much action, apart from Maldonado constantly going wide.

Its a shame that the rain stopped us testing our 2012 parts.

    Now there's a shock. ;)

First practise session I've missed in ages, and Schumacher rains supreme. Maybe I should miss Q3 and the race too?

I doubt they're the sort of conditions Eric-Vergne wanted to learn in.

Was that Vergne's only session this weekend?

Yep. He will get one session in Buemi's car in Abu Dhabi and another from the driver with less points in Brazil.

The whole point of getting up early for FP2 was that I could do some work at a leisurely pace, listen to Crofty and Anthony in the background and glance up the second it sounds like something exciting is happening.

Thanks BBC for not even managing that <steam>

Hamilton & Button both about 2 seconds faster than Vettel and Alonso. Must of been very light fuel runs?

What did people think of the Rosberg - Alguersauri Crash in FP2?

Personally I blame the awful and I mean awful pit exit. I see that they have modified the last corner and pit entry but surely they had time to fix the exit as well...
