Couldn't find a torrent for the original so watched the US version. Thought it was good but was gutted with the ending, am I right in that it should have been 1 series and not split like they have done? Watched the first episode of the Wire and hooked already.
The original was quality, the American version had a terrible ending to the first series. Honestly, the comparison in quality is so clear to see. Although the Danish one is obviously subtitled, it's a good show. Glad you're getting into The Wire - and it gets so much better.
I've never watched The Wire, I'm working away in the week at the moment so will be buying it to watch, I've been meaning to for ages. I watched Southlands last night on More4, another American cop drama. Very good, anyone else seen it?
