As Vialli said many years ago it's always difficult to motivate a team of millionaires

I've tried submitting my CV to Levy multiple times whilst telling him I could find him some good talent.

    Think I'm blocked now.

I recall Eriksen being useless in certain games throughout his time with us. He was a very frustrating player who would excel and then have periods where he was useless.

Think about those worldly goals he scored from free kicks. But then look at how many he buggered up!

It's the same for most of our players, look how **** Son has been since the turn of the year. Eriksen may have had a bad game here and there but excluding his final season, he rarely dropped in form for significant periods like Son does.

As for freekicks, he just got hit by the Spurs curse on that. Bale's now been infected by hit whenever he takes one of his.

I would suggest that he was more consistent than Sonny is. His free kick taking was inconsistent and frustrating, but that has not changed in his absence in fact I am not sure we have scored one since he left? I would add that there are not many in the prem scoring them on a regular basis in the way that Beckham and Ronaldo once did.

LUCAS MOURA AGAINST MARINE!!! HOW COULD YOU FORGET?! <laugh>

But yeah I agree, the day of brilliant freekick takers are seemingly dying. Ward-Prowse is the only one who I think teams fear, Sigurdsson and de Bruyne have hit one or two but there isn't the same level of fear as when Beckham or Ronaldo were lining one up that's for sure.

Wonder if Juninho Pernambucano is available for a coaching role? That man was the freekick god.

There's a severe lack of imagination with free kicks with so many vain attempts at scoring direct.

Might have been a bit harshly awarded! Didn't they also ban that style of free kick? But don't see why it can't be flicked up for a volley by some other method. Surely every possibility can't have been thought of? Miss the days of Hoddle's free kicks, so many sadly never recorded as there was no TV at the game. He must have missed the odd one but I'm pretty sure he scored more than he missed (well it seemed that way).

They did ban that type of free kick! It made the goalie look silly.

How does the keeper miss that, exactly?

This team could do with a prime Eriksen

We would be so much better

Could do with a few prime players at the moment, mate.

In fact, I’d settle for a few half decent players considering some of the dross we’re using at the moment <laugh>.

Unbelievable ****...can’t believe how backwards we have gone.

Every team has had their chance in the last 6 years to taste glory and all have taken it but we didn’t...we missed our chances to win a few things and now we are going to have to start all over again and with Levy at the wheel I’m not sure I’ve got the energy sometimes...this is some tiresome ****.

If Kane leaves(who can blame him?)I just know Levy is going to flunk the money on some BOGOFs...I seriously cba

    Sell Kane, buy Joelinton. Ballin’.

The decline has been gutting though. We built a proper good team that just lacked an extra bit of quality to get us over the line. Now we’re just praying Harry Kane’s ankles don’t get bruised most weeks so he can earn us a draw against mid table fodder.
