Post amended. Looking back he did slip in 'also'. No room though for acknowledging City.

Elected by the good people of East Hull to represent them in the HoP.

Think KT conflates City with the Allams, hence his lukewarm attitude to our team.

Skint dad's only just found the East Riding, so has most likely never heard of rugby league.

The fact he needed telling should be revealing to the followers, and perhaps explain why it's seen more as quaint and quirky than as much of a selling point in itself.

I'm not on twatter but if the Bri Lee is the Bri Lee I think it is he is 100% diehard Hull City as are all his family and his late father before him.

I heard a story a few years back about Mr Turner. He'd had some correspondence with the Allams about something and the out come was an invite by our chairman and owner to a match. A car was sent to his house to pick him up as pre arranged......and KT backed out at the last minute and didn't attend. Could be bollocks but I tend to think it happened.

It just ended up in a punch up really one game .
There was a couple of decent lads that played for them .
Dave Burdet who I used to work with and a guy called Pete .
Our team was made up of lads from Brabsholme and Longhill .
    Was never gonna end well

That happened a lot back in the day, I started a Sunday league team with a friend in the sixties and we called the team WAKAM, great name! It actually derived from where most of the original players came from, which was "Willerby and Kirkella Anglican Methodist Youth club. Our home ground was Anlaby Rec, and often we had to venture into Anlaby Park pub before matches to try and find a player or two to make up the team, which generally they played under someone else's name.

The team did eventually change its name to Anlaby Park Rangers

    Yep.
Some really good tweets and re-tweets. A lot of it city stuff (including some good nostalgia) but also some good general stuff from around the area.
I don't follow many on Twitter, which to my mind is the key - quality not quantity, just follow a few interesting people based on your interests. He's one I do choose to follow.
