Now all the pundits are trying to sell Harry Kane...every single one of them. Maybe they've organised a percentage of sales money shared out between them.
Which resulted in them needing a centre-back to score when he should've already been sent off. A half-decent striker could've buried us in the first half.
So what next. New manager. Kane off? Two new CBs New RB Top 4 defensive MF Refresh MF attacking options New striker what a car crash...not even sure where you start!
Son having a mare certainly took its toll If Son was on form - hell, if he was even having a 6/10 game - we'd have had something in the final third. Instead he was off form, and with Kane unfit we were blunted from the start
He definitely bottled it but as you say, it's understandable. I just wished he was more adventurous and realised that losing wouldn't ruin his future career but surely he knows he has no chance of becoming the permament manager at present?
Let's be realistic, we have just sacked our manager because we were playing so badly, it was very unlikely we would turn over the most dominant club in England. Once again we contest a final with a half fit Kane, that's bad luck. Mason didn't pick Ndembele which is a plus in my eyes but he needs to try and shake off the Jose effect on this team and he has little time to do that. BUT football is a simple game and if he has the balls to play to our strengths which is attack he could make a mark before the end of the season but if he is cautious he will be out.
Levy has to go or at least ENIC do, shame we lost, I thought Levy may resign if he delivered a trophy. We need an owner with money, enough to rebuild. Then we need a manager who can build Then pray
Barely a replacement/ upgrade for Winks. The surgery this team needs is ridiculous though. Record signing is so **** he can’t even get on the pitch, second highest is ****ing **** as well, third highest also can’t get on the pitch... this club’s recruitment over the last 4-5 years has been absolutely awful and we’re severely paying for it now. The future definitely isn’t bright for this club.
Sems to be the fans' response in so many clubs - get rid of the owners. Is there actually a queue of people or organisations with a spare £300/400 million or much more to spend to pay off owners and then continue to support with working capital? And also comply with the fit and proper rule? Or are existing owners expected to write off their money and walk away? To me, regardless of the club, that is such a naive view. The majority of clubs are stuck with what they have and the best fans can expect is for club boards to work more closely with fan bodies to achieve more acceptable solutions.
Oh look, here come the Nomads tweeting about how sad our players are because they're crying after losing in the final of a Mickey Mouse cup As I've said for years, which was barely audible over the sound of goalposts being moved, we could've won the Season Killer Cup for the past four seasons and those saddos would be beating us over the head for not winning a "real" trophy
I don't think he does. Everyone knows he's far too inexperienced for the role and do not expect him to perform miracles. He should be approaching the job with a "nothing to lose" attitude and be bolder. This interim role should have no bearing on his future.
