Can’t remember you ever saying LJ had 6 top championship players at his disposal.. he had to choose from 2nd tier French and alike!! Anything decent was sold on if I remember..
I can’t remember.. it was a long time ago (just before LJ arrived) being so close to a relegation place!!
If NP is as good as everyone makes out (and I really hope he is) he shouldn’t need so much backing as LJ the rookie should he??
NB.. that should stir Jiffies blood cells!!

    1For

    Ayling
    Bryan
    Reid
    Pack
    Smith
    Freeman

Johnson didn't sign 1 of the above.
I'd say this 6 are better than what we have now, 4 of them have played since in the Premiership.
I'd also argue that £30k a week Kalas isn't that much better than Flint and 37yr old Wilbraham is as effective as £5million Fammy.
Twist it whichever way you like the squad left by Johnson is, after 4 years and 65 signings, pathetic.

Yes.. they were sold on RP.. pulled from under his feet, along with Webster, Brownhill etc.. many key players not replaced like for like.. what choices were given to him?
    Not twisted RP but reality..

I’ve stayed out of your LJ debates but it’s not rocket science to know that no club will be chucking money round this summer. Nige has already stated that himself. So it’s just one of your many daft comments knowing that it won’t happen, but that’s nothing to do with LJ, DH AG. This will be down to finances without any funds coming into the club barring Robins TV this year. All ST monies has been paid back barring one game. So there’s nothing left in the pot and comply with FFP.

How many players during the reign of Lee came and went without a whisper when a lot of us thought that we had finally found some diamonds in the rough? First opinions, although sometimes far off the mark, are generally close to the real deal and I often wondered why did so many of those players look for the first bus out of Ashton Gate? Clearly we do not come anywhere near a destination of choice for truly dedicated forward thinking players ans so they pass us by only to be replaced by extremely poor substitutes and no-hopers. Is it any wonder when you consider the way we conduct our business which allows all the best assets to leave and become part of a much more resilient club capable of so much more than Bristol City while we continue down the same path to nowhere?

Don't make too much noise though just in case someone wakes and smells the roses.

    'they were sold on'
'pulled from under his feet' ?
    They were his decisions.
LJ then had 65 attempts to replace them.
You believe he didn't have a say in transfers. Ashton has categorically said otherwise.
    So you don't believe Ashton.
    Up to you mate.
There isn't a *** paper in my loathing of Johnson or Ashton.

LJ may have had the final say, of what we've been told......The scouts/Ashton or whoever would have listed players that might have been available and within a certain budget. from that list, you could be right, he might have had the final say..........but.....I bet (with your money) that list didn't consist of players in the same category as those that were sold off...........22 million for Webster.....wonder what was offered to him as a replacement :emoticon-0103-cool:
Context required please RP........................................oh and common sense.............if that's possible. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Supermoon tonight: How big will the April Pink Moon get?
The name Pink Moon is attributed to Native American beginnings, and was later adopted by colonial Europeans.

How to see the Pink Super Moon
For those wanting see the supermoon over the next few days, it's a good idea to check the local moonrise times.

The moon will become visible about 45 minutes after the sun sets.

London's moonrise will be at 7.28pm on Monday evening, and 8.59pm on Tuesday.

Edinburgh is about 30 minutes behind London, with the moon rising at 7.50pm on Monday.

at 4am it was SW from my house and you could read a book I took a load of pics using 1/200 to 1/500 and from asa 200 to 1600 not to happy as whilst in focus were not "saturated" enough [to grainy and lighter areas had no definition, a bit washed out ] my EOS 550 has no B&W facility ….
