I see he was up in Aberdeen today trying to sweet talk the major Oil Companies after imposing their tax windfall on them last year. Wonder how he was received. The Oil and Gas Industry is absolutely vital to the economic stability of this country. What I don't fully understand though is the legal implications of the ownership of the Oil and it's tax generating revenue. Is it Britain's or is it Scotlands? Wither way you can rest assured the Tories and Labour will be battling it out for Britain and the SNP will tells us it's Scotlands. Personally I think Aberdeen and the North East should annexe itself from the rest of the country and go it alone. **** the rest of you!! Would certainly not trust the SNP nor Slimy Salmond to do anything useful with the revenue apart from keep it all for the Central Belt. Ok the last two paragraphs were tongue in cheek.
This tax grab on oil was one of Cameron's more ridiculous ideas. Think he needs a wise-headeed civil servant to direct him al la Yes Primeminister.
