I've just been sent a clip of it. FFS
Where's he meant to put his foot.
Should have used the Force to clear the ball.
Clear Red.

Yeah, but conversely if he goes against VAR advice it becomes a similar talking point. He had direct experience of that when he went against VAR advice when he gave us that peno at Castle Greyskull.I don't think it's that. If he doesn't give that, then I doubt it would be looked back on too much.
Now Moyes is going to have a right dig about it and it'll be analysed after the game, on MOTD and probably on MNF on Sky.
The easier decision is to not send him off, have a word and carry on.
He can, but clearly he is influenced by the nob heads in the studio who are urging him to go with their call.
Just **** this **** off and leave it to the on field ref.
Should have used the Force to clear the ball.
Clear Red.

yeah, so it’s the on field ref who is swayed by the ultra slow replay.
If that decision ends up costing West Ham a CL place, the officials should be made to pay them the compensation from their own pockets.

Yeah he held his nerve and had faith in his own decision, but got grief for it. Path of least resistance is to go with the VAR advice.was a brilliant decision. That little flick after the accidental coming together from The Best RB in the world in DCL.
Typical ref has never played the game and not got a clue.
Only because he's been told it's a red and should be checked.
He's a ****in idiot for choosing to send him off.
VAR didn't tell him to send the player off, though. They told him to look at it.Yeah, but conversely if he goes against VAR advice it becomes a similar talking point. He had direct experience of that when he went against VAR advice when he gave us that peno at Castle Greyskull.
Either decent bait or really poor judgment that.Red card all day in my book.

VAR didn't tell him to send the player off, though. They told him to look at it.
Graham Scott was the first to go against it in our game against Brighton, IIRC.
He ignored a really obvious foul in the buildup to their goal, despite being told to look at it again.
can’t ref make the final decision.
Remind me which European trophy you've won?
West Ham, last two times the qualified for Europe, they were knocked out by same team. Plus Moyes isn’t great in Europe. He is doing West Ham a favour here.
