well, that second half was dire in the least, passing it about first half they were chasing shadows...then we once -a-feckin-gain resort to just long balls, they just grew and grew in confidence. how the hell did oniens header go in...there was no great power behind it just a gentle nod yet burge is nigh on at the edge of his box for no reason at all then when we somehow manage to get that third we hold onto it for less than 2 minutes, soft free kick but well taken by their lad. i honestly cannot think of one player that had an off day but the whole team went to hell after the break, every single one of them should apologise for that 2nd half display imho...from automatic promotion to play offs to hopefully still manage enough to be involved in the play offs is nothing short of a complete disgrace from a squad that can play so much better.
I would be happy if the league ended now. I would fancy our chances against the other teams currently in the play off places. Happy for Pompey and Charlton to stay where they are.
Well done to Hull and Peterborough, deserved it and didn't bottle it like us. Really don't fancy us in the play offs at this rate. Need to stop with the square pegs in circle holes and get a more settled team as well. I can see where Bristol City fans got there nickname for LJ from now.
Crap. At 2-0 it should have been a case of how many we were going to score. We desperately need an injection of grit and leadership next season or we'll always bottle it like this.
