Then for at least one whole day, we'll be one of only three remaining unbeaten teams so far this season along with Man Utd and Man City <diva><diva><diva>

Plus, if we manage to beat Tottenham, then we'll be one of the three unbeaten teams for a whole other week and possibly beyond <diva><diva><diva><diva><diva><diva><diva>

If we at least draw (or lose by less than 2 goals), Liverpool arent going to beat Man U and we'll stay 4th <diva>

IF Man City beat Villa (possible)

    Liverpool beat Manure (possible)

    We beat Tottenham (maybeee)

and the following week Manure and City draw (possible)

    Then we beat Wigan (definite)

Then we will be in SECOND, 1 point behind man city, and only us and Citeh will be unbeaten!

    We can all dream ;)

    If it's 3-0 we'll go 5th.

    <laugh> that's awesome.

A lot of those results seem plausible. My only worry would be Liverpool and Man Utd. But surely Chelsea will pick up some points too? If the results go our way maybe we can hope for third for a week. We'll just have to keep Liverpool and Spurs off our tails, and the best way for that to happen is if they're both beaten this weekend.

  7. It's ok, if we lose on Sunday, we still get to play Wigan next week which should be a comfortable win.

Villa spoil that for me. They cheapen it. I'd rather be up there with Man Utd and City <diva>

I've predicted Man. City to win 3-1, Liverpool to get beat by Man. Utd 2-1, don't wish to tempt fate with our result.

Yeah I'd say us vs Tottenham and Liverpool Man U are the only questionable ones there, also if we take maximum points from our next two games, who can overtake us? In the above scenario we would still be second :D

Don't underestimate Wigan last two games have been 2-2 - didn't Bramble get a last minute equaliser a couple of years ago - and previous to that we only scraped through 1-0.

If we win Sunday and Liverpool lose we could be 5 points clear of fifth.

I agree, he shouldn't underestimate them so much. However, whilst they have a win and draw at home, Wigan appear to be very poor away, with only one 0-0 draw against Swansea and three losses.

It would be severely disappointing if we don't win when we face them at SJP, because I think they're going to lose the vast majority of their away games this season, and it'll be very annoying if we're one of the few who get beat, or even draw.

The quality IS there for a comfortable victory, but if we take our foot off the pedal or underestimate the opposition, it could bite us in the arse.

PS: If we beat Spurs, how much is anyone betting that Lawro will put us down to get beat by Wigan? ****ing ****er.

I wouldnt underestimate any PL side but Wigan have lost their star man in Zog and dont really have a player that scares the opposition (like even Blackburn have Hoillett).
