A must win match, on our quest for the Championship title.
My record in London is pretty poor, but I am confident we can put this one to bed.
Some nasty posts on QPR thread.
I didn't realise they hated us so much.

5 point gap to Watford, 9 points available.

So a win for us coupled with Watford failing to win hands us the title.
Any other combination of results and the title won't be decided this weekend.

I read something the other day on newsnow implying that a win against QPR will seal the title, sloppy journalists I guess

I think it's mostly just the one poster. No big animosity from most of us! Congrats on the promotion, pleased that you stuck with the manager and that it paid off...a lesson for many

Thanks - good to hear. No obvious reason for animosity!

I think QPR are under the radar as a team to watch next season, having had a decent one to build upon this year. Plus, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think any QPR players have been really so blatantly hood that clubs from the premier league come sniffing - more of a team effort. Ilias Chair is maybe the only one I can think of?

Maybe a little under the radar I guess. It's just an enjoyable time to support QPR again, which is nice. All of the nonsense that came with the Fernandes era - instability, overpaid has-beens that didn't really want to play for us, over-hyping on social media, impossible promises about a new stadium etc etc - has gone, which took a huge amount of work from our CEO, Director of Football, and the management. Our wage bill has done down year on year to the point that we've now got (I think) the third smallest wage budget in the league at about c.£18m. We've somehow actually got a decent piece of land for a new training ground, with planning permission, which means the first team and youth teams will be on the same site. And, perhaps best of all, the team is playing (mostly) attractive football with the league finishes improving in each of the last two years. Add to that that we're developing younger players and selling them on for profit to bigger clubs, and I think we're now well set for the future. In short, we've gone through the pain that awaits clubs like Derby, and we've done it while maintaining our Championship status. I think the CEO deserves huge credit for this, which is perhaps what has gone most under the radar.

Sorry, probably too much info! As for players, on one hand I think you're right, no 'Eze' type figure this year who stands out head and shoulders ahead of the rest of the team who will definitely go this summer, but there are a few to watch out for. Dickie at CB has been brilliant, perhaps our player of the year, signed from Oxford in the summer and will likely go on to bigger things; Chris Willock (brother of more famous Arsenal Willock) was also signed in the summer from Benfica and he's come on leaps and bounds across the whole season, from regular sub to guaranteed first teamer who looks very dangerous behind the striker(s); Dieng in goal has been a revelation with West Ham sniffing; and Dykes up top, who had a slow start with us, but has really come into his own since January, leading the line with a lot of strength, but also adding goals to his game. Dykes has really benefited from Austin's mentorship from the outside looking in.

Should be a great game this weekend, with two teams who play football the right way and can relax and (hopefully) enjoy some sunshine.

Agreed you don't play ugly physical football and just kick teams off the park like others have tried this season .

Always a nice day out at Loftus Road when I lived in West London, hopefully you lot get promoted next season .

Anybody else nervous about this match? Lose this one and we could struggle to win the Championship title. Reading (7th) at home followed Barnsley (6th) away the last game will not be easy.

4 points from 9 is all we need with better GD provided Watford beat Millwall Swansea and Brentford.

There won't be an open top parade or celebrations at the Town Hall.

This is a funny time to support football as we can't watch games or gather to celebrate so I really don't care that much.

As soon as promotion was secured the boys lost that hunger .

Of course it would be disappointing to not finish the season off but I won't lose any sleep.

We achieved promotion job done .

I have always had a soft spot for Millwall.

I'm a bit nervous with QPR returning home after road wins at Middlesbrough and Swansea. I really want the trophy. I won't cry if we don't get it, but we deserve it after what the club accomplished this season.

If we don't win it, we don't deserve to win it.
