Ever wondered why they turned out ****?

Ever wonder how McDonalds make their chips?

You are doing it all wrong, for a small fee you can become a chip master within minutes.

You are only one off payment of £5.99 a month for 3 years, away from being the Chip Master.

    pm me for more details.

The secret to the perfect chip is use the perfect potato (I prefer Maris Pipers) and do NOT use a deep fat fryer. Use a proper chip pan.

Do you mean preparation? You just need to ensure there is minimal moisture in the potato so that the chips come out nice and crispy

The chips should be cut evenly and boiled in water with 3/100 part vingegar and 6/100 part sugar leaving 91/100 part water.

Boil the chips to 180 degrees for 15 minutes then freeze.

Now you have some mcdonalds chips ready to fry in the deep fat frier, fry on full heat for 1 minute, and remove, allow to stand for 1 minute, then fry for another 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.

you are now the chip master

Why would you want to make McDonalds style chips? Proper chips are as thick as a 500 pound man's thumb and they are made in a proper chip pan, not a deep fat fryer.

Pah, health and safety. If you use a chip pan then use some bloody common sense. If you put on a chip pan and are stupid enough to not keep an eye on it you don't get any sympathy from me if your house burns down.

Soak them in salt water to get rid of the starch....Drain with a teatowel.....Put in very hot oil until they float....Remove and shake...Bring oil back to optimum heat and put them in until golden....FACT
