Looks like he can quarantine at home in the U.K. on his return . Don’t think anyone checks, not sure though. Don’t suppose he’d welcome a fine if he got caught breaking quarantine.
It isn't really a money thing, it is more he can't work from home, he is at various locations in the UK.
They are desperate to get tourists back but I wouldn't be surprised if they turn holiday makers back at the airport if they don't have a valid reason to fly. I went last August with no problems and Stansted was empty , the airport I flew into Saint Javier has permanently closed it was a ghost town at arrivals. All the restaurants and bars were closed in the area too , it didn't matter because I was visiting family but it was still weird
Bloke I worked with went to Portugal and while he was there it was put on the red list by the Government. He ended up flying back to the UK via Dublin where he wasn't checked and not checked at Stanstead either. Back door action in Ireland shocker.
Nasty reaction from the ongoing clinical trial https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/scots-womans-severe-reaction-covid-23945503
If Coronavirus wasn't plastered over every possible media outlet 24/7 would we even guess any 'deadly virus' was about? I keep hearing how we are dropping like flies but of the three people I know that have died from Covid in the last year: One was in his late 80's and was given six months to live in 2017 as his emphysema was so bad; One had his 3rd heart attack in 6 months (late 70's/early 80's at a guess); and one was massively, morbidly obese and was in and out of hospital several times a year. None of these deaths came out of the blue. Unfortunately it is virtually impossible to open this discussion without someone calling you a **** and saying his fat wife died 'of' Covid. It's all just arrant nonsense, facts flew out of the window ages ago.
Average age of death in UK 82 Average age of death with Covid-19 85 If you are in your 80s you are probably better off getting it statistically. It's all fake
I went to a funeral last summer, was expecting close family only to be allowed in the church, and the rest of us were just going to pay our respects outside. But the priest waved everyone inside. About 120 people in the church I think. So my mate Sam had a better send off than Phil the Greek. Which he thoroughly deserved imo.
I took some quarantine with me to the Bahamas 2 years ago. I wasn't stopped at customs, so I think we're all ok.
