Gio really ain’t having a great game, not that anyone is for us. I see the point of playing a fluid, mobile group of forwards when your lead striker is out if your intention is to press as a unit. But we’re not. Don’t get me wrong these things take time to coach and 2 days isn’t going to make it happen but in the absence of that option I really don’t get why we aren’t seeing Vinny.
I do actually feel really sorry for Mason. We’ve asked a rookie to try and make a tune out of a bunch of **** currently without the player that carries them all.

1-0 HT. Awful. Take at least one of Lo Celso or Ndombele off, get Vinicius on and start getting on the ball. Too many players off the pace and the formation and system aren't working, either.
Terrible half - feel for sorry for Mason because the effort has been appalling could make all 3 subs at HT and replace anyone except Hugo and we wouldn't be surprised, Son Lo Celso and Ndombele need a huge kick up the arse more than the rest.
