I'm not sure what to watch next - I've just started 'Game of Thrones' and although not my usual genre I must say it is very impressive. I'm thinking about maybe giving 'The Shield' a bash, anyone seen it?
Battlestar Galactica was good if you like Sci Fi. The Killing is also good 1st series of the american version has just finished. Quite liked The Walking Dead good start but will need to improve. Heroes season 1 but forget the rest just take the first season as it is. Oh! and Corrie.
I watched it but it was shockingly bad, in comparison to the original. If you haven't seen the original it's worth a watch though.
This thread is turning gay. Liverpool, **** city with a crap football team of the same name Its also a city KPR has never visited
It's mile better than the X files mate. I'm gonna read up on how to download series of the internet later I think - I wanna watch Sopranos as I haven't seen any of them yet. Do you know anything else that JJ Arabahams ( bad robot ) is involved in - his stuff is usually very good
It's great sky. It's a marathon of a show though, 7 or so series. But very good. And yes, I have watched pretty much every tv show worth watching as you can now tell lol
No meaning there's a lot to get through. It gets better series after series and by the end you feel like you've been on one hell of a journey. Great actors and good story too, plenty of twists. Plus it's a proper series. - theres none of that self contained one episode one theme stuff suited for the casual viewers (ie house) which means you're rewarded for following it all the way from episode 1 right to the end of the show.
**** sake Red - Thanks for just persuading me to waste another month or so of my life Sounds good, I much prefer a good strong story line to those **** one episode wonders.
Out of interest, as you're the TV series master! You know by now my favourite show is The Wire - what show would you recommend for me taking that into consideration?
Brotherhood. Vastly underated imo. It only aired for 3 series but I thought it was great and was very clever. It involves the Irish mob in the USA and two brothers, one the gangster, the other a congressman and the shades of grey involved in what they both do for a living. Great watch. Also Boardwalk Empire is great, it's slow to start but you're used to The Wire, so it's not like you're expecting every episode to be action packed. There's a story to be told so obviously not every episode is going to tick all the boxes week in week out. A great watch though with more superb acting and scriptwriting from HBO.
