    This makes me sick,why the hell do people drink and drive? they're scum! just another example of footballers or ex footballers thinking they're above everything.Think people would learn from that plymouth goalkeeper killing 2 kids but no,nothing gets in these thick skulls.Send him down!

    Read the non-story. You'll find that, as a consequence of the accident Merson was breathalysed. This is routine nowadays. He cut his head, and because of that he was taken to hospital to have it seen to. There he also gave a routine blood test, which presumably showed no significant alcohol [or even none at all]. He was de-arrested because he was never in Police custody. It could have happened to You or Me. It just happened to happen to Paul Merson.

    I've read it now and obviously he didn't drink,whenever i see the words drink driving it gets me so wound up,i hate drink drivers with a passion.Sorry to paul merson for jumping the gun haha.
