    Exactly.
Condemned if he does, Condemned if he doesn't. He's right, Dave Whelan has no right to call Liverpool a ''greedy club''. Its about ambition, If Wigan want to remain a middle of the road premiership club feeding off the scraps of the big boys, let them. Liverpools ethos was always being the best and they will do whatever it takes to do so.
If this idea does not bear fruit, and it seems that it won't, due to the hyporisy of many premiership clubs whom are nothing short of envious of Liverpools global stature, Ian Ayre will think of another way to maximise Liverpools commercial potential.

    Do you want facts.
The proof is in Liverpools record £20 million deal with Standard Chartered who are based in Asia. The proof is in Liverpools new kit deal with Warrior Sports which is also a record which kicks off in the summer of 2012. The deal is worth £75 million from 2012-2014. No other club in England can match such a deal. That is why Liverpool hold such global superiority, their brand is far greater than a no mark club like Chelsea whom globally are a small club in Fulham, Fat Frank or no Fat Frank will change that.

Why do you need facts for that? Slightly obnoxious...

We've set ourselves up in India. If you read the news you'd know that. It was only a couple of weeks ago that it was announced.

I thought you had set up an academy in Delhi. Not a supporters' club.

Anyway, pistolero, if liverpool's profile is so high in Asia why did chelsea sell out out match in
Malaysia: 84900 but you guys only got 80000.

Finally, is warrior sports an asian brand? What does it have to do with 'nailing the Asian market'?

Thank you for proving my point, and it does in fact prove that Hammersmith Blue was in fact getting above his station and it does prove Chelsea are light-years behind Liverpool in both stature and global support.
As I said earlier Chelsea are both a no-mark club and a small club in Fulham and it will take decades before they reach Liverpools level. Even Fernando Torres retracted his statement and said that Liverpool are by far a bigger club than Chelsea.

Thanks for illustrating my point lads.

The article said the Liverpool malaysia game was practically sold out. And the article was written On the 19th BEFORE chelsea played Malaysia all stars in front of a BIGGER sell out attendance on 21st.
Chelsea sold out v Malaysia 84900. Bad luck losers. THE SILENCE AFTER THIS POST IS DEAFENING.

Do your research better next time.

Chelsea also sold more pies than Liverpool did, However the majority of those pies sold by Chelsea were bought by Frank Lampard.

England have a chance of winning thei first three games in the European championships.....Spudhead is suspended. They will have 11 players on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes. One of them won't disappear. I reckon this should put an end to the debate that Spudhead is world class.

I couldn't give two ****s whether he's hurt or not by my opinion that is hardly the point, the fact remains he's made himself look a twat in what is a Football League, made up of teams and sustained by the teams within it.

If you want to look after your own interests then do one and set up your own league of one.

Here she is, nice one Raul, Lucaaas, penelope, emma....whatever....

I don't think Ian Ayre is going to maximise much on his current course, apart from making himself look like a bigger, one eyed twat than he already does...

Nothing more than a knee jerk reaction to not having qualified for the CL again, but there aren't many who would so publically undermine the rev share for teams who have earnt the right to their share.

So when Chelsea swan off to Asia and the USA pre-season they are doing it for the benefit of less well off clubs.

It won't get past the minimum 14 club rule.

That's another thing we can complain that Parry messed up on. He devised it when he was at the PL

I feel sure that his fellow Premiership MDs hold a very different view of his statement and its commercial basis to the one that you have forwarded - even if they do not agree (generally because it is not in their particular interests).

Perhaps that is why Ian Ayre is MD of a global organisation and you are just a foul mouthed fool

Of course not, but at the same time we aren't trying to stiff them out of the Premier League TV money they have the right to earn.

Do what you like in terms of growing revenue off your own backs, as well you have over the last 30 years and more, but at the behest of the league and the clubs within it it is wrong.
