Welcome @Sadiejane1981

I'm happy to support Dick Plumb's new forum.
I think it will succeed gradually over time on merit, and become a slightly different and distinct forum for fans to spend a little time on.

You misunderstood me the “we’ve been here before” was a private joke. I wish him and it well I’ve joined already x

I give up.

It's a reference to the alternative Proboards Charlton forum that Sadie and a few others created about three years ago, when it looked like ITTV might be closed down. In the end the new forum didn't work out, but we gave it our best efforts.
We hope Dick Plumb will enjoy more long term success...

Don't give up Elfs <wah> Real football needs you like never before. You're our standard bearer for Non-League coverage <applause>

@Sadiejane1981 and I go back a long way. We started a Charlton forum with Inkblot which was not a roaring success.

Apologies @Dick Plumb1 I had not remembered that you were right at the heart of that project.
My memory is getting terrible. I recall several folks were involved, but details eluded me.

Anyway, here we are now. Onwards and upwards!

It was still fun whilst it lasted the main problems were I was still very much CL involved and Inkys heart was in ITTV we wanted to take the best of both I think for the hundred or so members that used it it was a pleasant place for a while but it hit a bit of a brick wall I don’t mind admitting defeat. As Elf just said onwards and upwards...

Alas with Elfs I think his upwards days are no more , even with the help of his platform boots he barely reaches 4’ 5 1/2” :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Please be kind to Elfs chaps, he may not be in the most chipper of moods this evening.

We all have our good and bad days remember... <hug>
An Addicks win will hopefully add some cheer.
